SAX1G is a Bristol RELH6L coach, with ECW body, built for and initially operated by Red & White Services Ltd.
When the Associated Motorways pool was formed in the early 1930’s, Red & White was the only operator that placed all of their express services into the pool. However, some of the subsidiary or associated companies continued to operate express services on their own account. Following nationalisation, and the subsequent absorption of the Griffin and Ralph companies, Red & White continued to operate those services on their own account.
